Fusion Systems Engineer

About the Role

As a Fusion Systems Engineer at Stellarex, you will play a key role in integrating complex subsystems into coherent fusion device designs. You’ll work across disciplines to support system architecture, risk reduction, and milestone-driven technology validation.

What You’ll Do

• Support system-level design and integration of fusion device components
• Collaborate with plasma physics, mechanical, electrical, and controls teams
• Assist in defining technical requirements and interfaces between subsystems
• Contribute to design reviews, trade studies, and technical documentation
• Support prototype and demonstration activities

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in engineering, physics, or a related field
• Experience with complex engineering systems or advanced technology projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate across technical disciplines
• Interest in fusion energy and long-term energy solutions
